When creating a news show we normally come up with ideas for the week's show. We'll either meet as a group & decide or type up our ideas idividually on a list. After we've finished planning what will be on the show we group up into groups of 2-4 people. From there we are assigned our news piece and must begin planning a script and outline for the piece. In the filming process what we do is film! Depending on what needs to be filmed, groups take out cameras and collect the videos and shots they need. Some groups may be videoing interviews, others may be filming things such as: skits, reviews, and updates. Next, our groups import the videos and pictures they need into iMovie. Once in iMovie we can finish up our projects and make them perfect. The editing process would probably be known as the longest part of creating a news show, because it takes time and patience. After editing we export. We then import all news pieces onto one computer in iMovie and finish up the show. While on the same computer we'll create and outro for the show. When everything is put together on one iMovie video we export the entire show. After everything has been finished the show is uploaded to our schools iHigh page for everyone to watch.
